Hotel Viata has a mandatory destination fee of $40.00 plus tax, per room, per night, which includes:
- One (1) bottle of Trinitas Cellars wine upon arrival. Non-alcoholic beverage available upon request.
- Two (2) bottles of water per stay
- Convenient self-parking in our onsite garage
- Electric vehicle charging stations available in the garage
- Fresh fruit-infused water at our Hydration Station in the lobby
- Espresso and biscotti refreshments at the front desk
- In-room Keurig machine with replenished daily coffee and tea for two guests
- Alo Moves yoga mats for use in your room
- 24-hour access to the fitness center and pool
- High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
- Nightly happy hour with seasonal craft cocktails and light bites at Laurel Bar
- Live music at Laurel Restaurant every Friday and Saturday

Generally, a credit card will not be charged at time of booking. This is just to guarantee and hold your reservation. We will not use the credit card on file as a form of payment at check-in. You may use the same credit card that you used at time of booking at check-in but please be advised that you must present the physical card at check-in.
In some cases, depending on the type of reservation you are booking, you may be asked for a pre-paid, non-refundable deposit. In that case, we will charge your credit card immediately upon booking. Any other advanced payments on reservations where the credit card will not be present at check-in will require a credit card authorization form that can be sent digitally to you. We strive to provide you with the best stay possible and understand that for many, flexibility is important. All current and new reservations made directly with the hotel can be canceled without penalty up to 48 hours in advance.
For reservations made via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals, please contact your booking provider for information on their policies.

All major credit cards are accepted to pay for your room and to guarantee your stay. We do accept debit cards but we do not advise this, as the funds will be immediately held from your account.
Cash is accepted upon check-out only.
Yes, we can process your payment for another guest's stay even if you will not be at the hotel. Please send all advanced payment inquiries to aus-sales@pacifichospitality.com.
Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and can only be confirmed on the day of arrival. Please contact our Front Desk team at 512.306.6400 to check on availability.
A state-issued photo identification or passport and a valid credit card to authorize for your full amount of stay, plus incidentals for an additional for $150 per night. A hold (not an actually charge) will be placed on your credit card for this entire amount.
At time of check-out, the card on file will be charged for only the amount due on the room bill and not was advanced held at check in. Any remaining funds held at check-in will be released immediately at check-out. Please note that your banking institution may take 5-10 business days to release those funds back into your account. Please contact your banking institution for specifics on pending transactions.
The minimum age requirement is 21.

Rooms
Maximum occupancy varies by room type. A Deluxe or Superior King room can only accommodate 2 people, while a Deluxe Two Double room can accommodate 4 people. The maximum in our Robin, Sparrow and Mockingbird one-bedroom suites is 4 people and the maximum in our Hummingbird and Heron two-bedroom suites is 6 people.

We do not have connecting room options. However, we do have two-bedroom suites accommodating up to 6 guests. Please contact us at 512.306.6400 or frontoffice@hotelviata.com to make these arrangements.
Yes, rollaway beds are available upon request for Deluxe King and Superior King rooms. Rooms with two double beds cannot accommodate a rollaway bed due to the city fire code.
Yes, we have pack-n-plays available for families upon request at no additional cost.
Only our suites have bathtubs, and they are deep soaking tubs separate from a walk-in shower. There are a select few ADA accessible rooms with roll-in showers.
All rooms and suites at Hotel Viata have a microwave. Only our suites have mini refrigerators, though all other rooms have beverage coolers.
We have Keurig Coffee machines in our rooms and suites. Espresso is available at the front desk as part of the destination fee.
We have hypoallergenic pillows available upon request.

Hotel Viata's address is 320 S Capital of Texas Hwy, West Lake Hills, TX 78746. The hotel is located in the Texas Hill Country near the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, a short drive from downtown Austin.
Downtown Austin is only 8 miles from Hotel Viata. It takes about 15-20 minutes via TX-360 Loop S and TX-1 Loop N.
Check-in begins at 4:00pm. Check-out is at 11:00am. Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and can only be confirmed on the day of arrival. Please call call our Front Desk team at 512.306.6400 to check on availability.
For overnight guests, self-parking is included in the destination fee. Day visitors, including those visiting the restaurant and spa, can enjoy complimentary parking in the garage.
Valet parking is available for $39 per car for overnight guests and day visitors.
Yes, Hotel Viata is a pet-friendly hotel in Austin that welcomes dogs.
Yes, our pet-friendly hotel charges a non-refundable fee of $100 per stay for dogs.
Hotel Viata does not provide dog walking or pet sitting services on the premises but our concierge can share local recommendations with you.
Yes, locals and day visitors may purchase a day pass for the pool or Spa Viata through ResortPass.
We do not allow outside food and beverage anywhere on property.
Yes, our hotel does not allow smoking anywhere on the premises, including balconies, restaurants, and the pool deck. Cigar smoking is permitted only on the veranda near the courtyard, and at the designated area on the patio away from the restaurant.
